Unlike conventional splash guards that can crowd the wheel opening, AEV Splash Guards are purposefully positioned outside of the wheel well to maintain clearance for oversized tires. The result is additional protection from mud, gravel, snow, and road debris without compromising the tire clearance expected from an off-road-focused HD truck.

Built around a 1/2-inch-thick compression-molded rubber guard and supported by 3mm steel mounting brackets, these splash guards combine the flexibility needed for trail use with a secure, durable mounting system.

Built to Flex Off-Road

Rigid splash guards can become a liability when the trail gets tight.

AEV uses heavy-duty compression-molded rubber that is flexible enough to move when it encounters rocks, brush, or other obstacles. Rather than acting as a rigid extension of the body, the guard can deflect under contact while continuing to provide substantial tire coverage during normal driving.

The rubber guards are attached to 3mm steel brackets mounted securely to the truck, creating a robust structure designed for the demands of full-size HD applications.

The steel brackets are both zinc coated and E-coated for corrosion resistance, helping protect the mounting system against the conditions these trucks are built to encounter.

Larger and wider tires can throw significantly more debris onto the body of the truck.

AEV engineered these splash guards to sit outside of the wheel well, leaving more usable space around the tire than a conventional in-wheel-well design. The system has been validated for tires up to 37 inches, making it particularly well suited to lifted and AEV-equipped HD trucks.

This approach allows owners to gain meaningful debris protection while preserving the capability and stance that larger tires provide.
